Team Lochnagar

Nessco employees took part in a Charity walk event up Lochnagar on Saturday 5th July in aid of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Lochnagar is situated on Royal Deeside, the mountains of Lochnagar stand guard over Balmoral Palace and the towns of Ballater, Braemar and Balmoral. The mountains are popular all year round with walkers, rock and ice climbers and mountaineers.

1155 metres up Nessco employees battled their way to the summit to enjoy the beautiful views. The weather was fantastic, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

JDRF raises money to drive world-class research to cure type 1 diabetes and its complications. They aim to improve ways of managing type 1 diabetes by driving the breakthroughs that will ultimately lead to finding the cure.
