Peltor have just launched the ATEX approved Tactical XP Ear Defender.

It offers added safety with a built-in mic on the ear defender housing, allowing users to hear what is happening in the surrounding area.

The Tactical XP will operate with the existing ATEX PTT and comes in a number of options such as headband, helmet mount and behind the head.

The Tactical XP uses a revolutionary digital circuit that lets the user control and monitor the active-volume function, adapting the qualities of the ear defender to the situation and environment.
