NesscoInvsat is pleased to announce the launch of the next phase of handheld radios to be added to Motorola's Professional Series ATEX-approved product range.

The new Motorola ATEX radios offer several enhancements over previous versions, including:
- Higher dust rating allowing them to be used in areas where a potentially explosive atmosphere in the form of a cloud of flammable air-borne dust can occasionally form;
- ATEX certification with or without carry-case giving the user greater choice in how to carry and use the radio;
- Distinctive blue colour, making identification in mixed fleets easier and providing a simple way to check that only ATEX models are being brought into potentially explosive areas
Like all Professional Series radios, the new ATEX models offer the best in quality and performance. The wide range of features include:
- User-safety enhancing functions: emergency signalling and lone worker
- Assured communications thanks to X-PandTM voice compression, whisper feature, scan function and EscalertTM call alert volume
- Practical features for improved system performance including Busy Channel Lockout, Time-Out Timer, repeater talkaround and VOX capability
- Market leading quality and reliability thanks to compliance with MIL Spec 810F and the unique Motorola Accelerated Life Test
NesscoInvsat is also able to offer a unique range of blue coded ATEX-approved accessories to further aid the identification process in hazardous areas if required. These include the energy-efficient Lithium Ion battery designed specifically for this radio model, as well as a remote speaker microphone for hands free usage. Motorola-compatible accessories from Peltor are also available, with their blue ATEX-approved range continuing the theme for easy recognition.
